Hello, my name is Kylie McGinn, a creative realism artist born and raised in beautiful Nelson, New Zealand. I'm also a mum of three, and being a mum is the most important purpose in my life and the role I identify with most deeply.
The journey of motherhood has opened my eyes to the strength and beauty of the women in my life, and I'm drawn to capturing the resilience and vulnerability that defines us all. Through my art, I explore the complexities of the human experience, celebrating the beauty and strength that exists in every individual. Working with a range of mediums, including coloured pencils, charcoal, and oil paints, I craft vibrant and emotive portraits that aim to inspire and uplift. My current series is a tribute to the power and beauty of women, but it's also a reflection of the universal human experiences that connect us all.
